ON THE ROPES: A murderer’s child…A foster child…A troubled teen…Gabriel ‘The Saint’ Vega has never had an easy life. Being shuffled from one foster home to another after his father murdered his mother, he found himself in and out of trouble with the law. Never giving a damn about himself, let alone anyone else, his life was spiraling out of control; fast. Until one man and one sport changed everything. Frankie Carbone taught Saint how to handle his anger and rejection; by fighting it out in the ring. On his way to stardom, Saint finds himself pushed into the spotlight and into the arms of more women than he can ever imagine; he’s completely content with one night stands and random sex. Then Salem Harris comes walking into his life and changes his game plan. Saint finds himself wanting Salem in all the ways that scare him. She is off limits; taken. But that doesn’t stop Saint from going after what he wants, and he wants her. Frankie showed Saint a new way of life with Boxing, but will Salem give him the one thing he’s never known – love? Will Saint find himself fighting for the one thing he thinks he doesn’t deserve or will Salem end up breaking his heart? Gabriel ‘The Saint’ Vega has had to fight for every good thing he’s gotten in his life.REVIEW:

ON THE ROPES ( BOOK 1 )
I truly love this book! Christa blows me away with her characters and depth of the story she tells. Gabriel is probably one of my favorite fictional males and especially in the whole " fighter " category. We meet Gabriel and his brother when they are children. Tragedy is their lives and when something tragic happens they are left to foster care. Sadly Gabriel is separated from his brother. He found an outlet for all that anger, aggression, disappointment, hurt basically all emotions period and he found that in fighting. Frankie took him in and was like a father to him and showed him a better way to channel that anger he had in his heart and head. In walks Salem and it turns his world upside down. Gabriel is used to getting what he wants. But with Salem he learns fast that she isn't what she appears to be and she is taken, and not be no one either. Someone that can change things drastically for Gabriel. But he cannot help how attracted he is to Salem, she bewitches him. These two form a connection over time and find it hard to fight their attraction. But Gabriel has a temper and sometimes it's hard for him to keep that in check. Can these two make it work? or are they doomed from the start?
This is action packed with everything you want in a story. Action, hot guys, extreme hotness overload, love, lust it just has everything and it is truly an amazing book. That is pretty much all I can give away at this time, but trust me. You will LOVE IT!
Well done Christa, well done! I just want to say I am proud of this woman. This book is her own! it's all her, if you know her you at all you will feel her presence in this book and feel her in it .She poured her heart and soul into it and I just want her to know that I am proud of her.

GOING THE DISTANCE ( BOOK 2 )
I was given a ARC in exchange for my honest review.
Going the Distance we see a growth in these characters and I am so
very proud of them and Christa. We are taken on a roller coaster of
emotions and highs and lows and some things we never expected would
happen. Christa sure knows how deliver a emotionally captivating whirlwind romance story and I loved every second. Could not put it down.
Gabriel goes through a lot mentally in this book and Salem is there
for him, these two have such touching and amusing moments. Salem also
goes through a lot physically, mentally and emotionally and Gabriel is
always there for her and I love them both to pieces and love them separately for many differen`t reasons. Amazing book period.
When shit goes down with Blaine, it just shows what a slimeball he
truly is. You feel bad for him for a second then realize why you
dislike him so. The entire time I was rooting for Gabriel to kick his a$$. Really disliked the douche. But he was the spice to the story. I loved Gabriel finally telling and giving him what he
deserved.
There are sad moments, and many happy moments, but everything happens for a reason
and there is a deep message in this book and it speaks to you in ways you never thought possible. And the characters I adore and I think Christa captures that impeccably. It was a perfect ending to a perfect story. You must read to see how Gabriel and Salem`s story ends.
“I wanna win it for you, Say. To prove to you, that I’m a champion and
that I’m good enough for you.”
“Unless you’re showing me Blaine’s dead body, I’m not interested,”
