Love has no time limit.
www.hollysredhotreviews.com For Briar Gallo, her lifelong best friend, Benji, was more than the boy next door. He was her firstâeverything. Her first friend, her first kiss, her first love, and her first heartbreak. The day Benji left was the worst day of her life. Until the day he came back.
Benjamin Borelli always knew heâd find a way back to Briarâhe just couldnât foresee the devastating circumstances that would pave his way home. A lot has changed in the three years since heâs left. Benji is no longer the sweet, easygoing kid he once was. A lifestyle of drugs and violence has hardened him, leaving him hollow and despondent. But his feelings for Briar have always been his one constant.
When a series of wrong choices and bad decisions force Benji to flee back to his childhood home, he knows he has to clean himself up and straighten out the mess heâs made before heâll be worthy of Briar again. The only problem with his planâthereâs no outrunning the danger of his past. With the threat so close to home, he must do whatever it takes to protect the girl heâs always lovedâno matter the risk.
*Due to harsh language, violence, drug use, and sexual situations, this book is recommended for 17+.

www.hollysredhotreviews.com If I could give this story more than 5 stars I would gladly do that!
Infinitely... holy balls I have no clue where to even start. I was sucked in from the very start, the first couple pages and when Benji goes out of his way to get her that doll, I was hooked. This story grabs you and does not let you go. I have read all of Cheryl's books and this is probably by far my favorite. Each book she gets better and I can see the growth and progression in her writing. This was INTENSE!!! FOR REAL! and I thought Link was intense.
Briar (beautiful name) and Benji were fated to be together basically since she was born and he was a toddler. They grew up together and were best friends and became lovers. When they were teenagers his mothers addiction forced them to leave and with that he left Briar behind. Fast forward three years and Benji is no longer the boy he was. The streets, drugs and his mother have corrupted him in ways no human should have to go through. She was killed as part of a debt and he was forced to return home with his brother Jaxon.
Trying to kick a nasty habit he keeps his distance from Briar and for the life of her she does not understand why. And that is when all hell breaks loose and Benji's past comes to collect. The group are thrown into a shit storm and on the run from what haunts Benji. We are taken on a roller coaster ride of emotions, highs and lows and intense story line. Cheryl does not disappoint with the content and story line and the end... I was LIKE WTF!!! I am STILL LIKE WTF!!!!!!!!! ugh... it was pure amazingness. Cheryl blows my mind every.single.time. The next installment cannot come fast enough! I have soo many questions I need answered, I want to know more!! I NEED MORE!! UGHH!! AMAZING, BRILLIANT, SPECTACULAR, PHENOMENAL, CAPTIVATING, ALLURING...just..I have no words... speechless... I am also soo very upset with Benji right now...I am still trying to wrap my mind over WTF just happened lol.
"You're strong, Benji. You can do this. And if you start to slip, I'll jump in after you."
"I wish I had the right words to make you believe how much you mean to me. I loved you before I left, I loved you the entire time I was gone, and I haven't stopped loving you. I love you so fucking much I don't know how to feel any other way about you."
